Music and Fitness Volume 2 with Emily & Marlon
In this Volume of KOMITOMS Programming, Marlon Sobol, MT-BC, LCAT, and Emily Healy, an Exercise Physiologist, engage Viewer Participants in a full-body workout regimen, focusing on upper and lower limbic strength-building, joint mobility, core development, and balance. Throughout the program, Viewer Participants are invited and motivated to workout and commit to improving their overall health, while enjoying the added benefits of grounding and supportive drumming and guiding musical motifs played on the piano. The program comes to a close with a relaxing stretching cool down segment and a refreshing reminder of the importance of water and benefits of hydration, led by KOMITOMS-own nutritionist, Sima Sobol.
This volume of the KOMITOMS “Music & Fitness” series promotes integration and coordination of workout circuits, syncing movement repetitions with rhythmic and melodic patterns, developed to optimize pacing and sustained attention. Viewer Participants are able to entrain to the exercises presented and stay motivated and focused throughout the duration of the program. In this music-accompanied fitness program, Viewer Participants develop the ability to support cardiopulmonary health, agility, memory, focus, coordination, and physical balance. Emily and Marlon address the health and wellness needs of older adults, by offering fun and accessible functional fitness activities grounded, directed, and supported in music!
